I'm still not sure about all of that myself. I was off in space on a draft when it happened, so I only know what I've heard from other people who were here in the village. Sheena and Shinji told me that they sent droids and monsters into the village during the storm to look for Sir Catherine for some reason. Sheena said that he was dying... that he ended up dying anyway, even after everything we did to save him.
