[It's been just about two weeks since Yuri's return to Luceti. He mostly kept to himself during this time, wanting to make certain he had most - if not all - of his memories of Luceti back before he made it clear that he was around again. ... And of course, before taking control of Brave Vesperia again. Seeing his guildmates and having no clue who half of them were wouldn't exactly win him any points with them, after all.

But now, he was sure he remembered most things. ... Little details weren't around, but he didn't see the details as being nearly as important as faces and names. Regardless, he decided that he'd done enough waiting around and flipped open his journal.]

[ voice ]

I guess I've put this off long enough. [... Geez, what does he even say? "Hey guys, I'm back, in case someone didn't know!" Wow, that's kind of lame. Uhm.] So ... for those who know me, I'm back again - and I remember most things, as far as I can tell. For those who've got no clue who I am ... I wouldn't worry about it. I'm just one of those guys who keeps winding up here for whatever reason. You know, one of the "lucky" ones. [You could practically hear the quotes around 'lucky'.]

Anyway, I'll be taking charge of Brave Vesperia again over the next few days. So, if you've got any business with the guild and need to contact the guy in charge, send a message out to Yuri Lowell. I'll get back to you when I can. Also, if any guild members have anything they feel should be brought to my attention or anything like that, just let me know.

[Hm ... Yeah, that should be good enough. Although, there is one last thing ...]

... Aside from all that, I've got a question. Does anyone know just who was in charge of that training school thing from a while back? I've got a few things to ask them, if they're still around.

[Aside from that bit of business he had to take care of, Yuri's also at the battle dome, trying to get used to using the control panel for it again. ... Sure, he's only got it to do basic things (send out monsters in a typical grassy field), but it's something. He'll figure the rest of it out later.

So yes, feel free to run into him while he tries to figure out how to do more than just super basic things with the battle dome, or even catch him while he's training there.]

Yeah, sure. Probably best to hear it all in person, anyway. [A quick pause, then--] Where are you?

They're setting up a mural to be painted by the fountain, so I came out to the plaza to watch. It's a little crowded; I don't mind taking a detour to somewhere else.

... Yeah, it's probably not a good idea to have this kind of discussion with that going on nearby.

[Although, the battle dome isn't exactly the best place either. Hrm.

Well, she's right near the fountain, and house 12 is right there. That should be an easy-enough place to meet without them having to stand around awkwardly. Especially since it could end up being a long conversation.]

You remember where my place is, right? It'd probably be easier on both of us to just meet up there.

Understood. I'll be there soon.

[And with that, Yuri will just close his journal and head to house 12.

... It'll definitely take him longer to get there than it will for Raine, but not much longer than about fifteen or so minutes.]

[Raine will be waiting outside the house for him patiently, looking up and giving a wave once he makes his approach.]

[When Yuri gets close enough and sees said wave, he'll give a small wave back.]

Hey! Sorry if I made you wait a while. Kind of forgot just how far away I was.

It's not any trouble. You're still getting used to things. Had any time passed in your world while you were gone?

Not really, from what I could tell. I doubt I was back for even a full minute, thinking about it.

Goodness. That must have been jarring.

It wasn't too bad. I'm pretty sure it's the reason behind me remembering things as quickly as I did, so it kind of worked more in my favor than anything else.

Indeed, but it's still been quite a few months since the last time. Although I suppose after a while, time in Luceti doesn't really matter that much.

More or less. I guess the weather suddenly being totally different was kind of jarring, though ...

[With that, he gestures toward the front door.]

Anyway, we might as well get inside. No point in standing out here.

[He'll just go on ahead and start walking towards it now.]

Understood. [She gives a quick nod, following his lead.] Ah, that's right. It was much cooler when you were last here, wasn't it?

From what I can remember, yeah. I think it was just before the winter season was over ... Something like that.

[But regardless of that, he'll be getting the door open now. Come on in, Raine.]

So about four months... maybe close to five. [She vaguely remembers being a child during that time. It might have been then.] I suppose the specifics don't matter that much. Were you here when the Battle dome was attacked? That was at the start of that... world anchoring incident.

[Give him a moment to think about that. The dome being attacked, and a world anchoring incident ... hmm ...]

... No, I don't remember anything like that.

For a while, Bil was living under the Battle dome--since the Luceti Valley incident. The other Malnosso had left him alone for almost a year, but they attacked the dome without warning, when he was supposedly on the verge of testing something. They stole notes and the girl that was staying with him, while Bil himself fell into a coma.

Huh ... Sounds like I disappeared just in time for everything to go to hell. [a light sigh, then--] What happened after that?

After that, there was an incident in which some people had found themselves... anchored to other worlds. Their memories, along with the person they had been with at the time, were also altered. It was very confusing, of course - it always can be when realities are messed with. [She pauses, here, in case he has any questions about that.]

... Man, that really sounds messy. I can't say I'm sad that I missed out on something like that. [Not to mention how seriously he takes things like memories ...

Even if he's kind of curious to know if anyone ended up in his world. So, let's sideways-ask!] Was there some kind of list or something made of who went where?

I admit I didn't keep too much track of it, myself. I think there would have been a better attempt at keeping a list, had the incident been voluntary as originally expected - unfortunately, the Malnosso had taken it upon themselves to pair people up and send them off without asking.

Ah, I see ... Figures. Although, I guess it'd be pretty weird for them to suddenly let us decide anything they do to us for ourselves. [... So much for that. Well, whatever - he didn't really care all that much, as it was.] What happened after that mess got cleaned up?

They left it alone for another month or two, until they gave us an ultimatum to allow them to find and collect him. We had a meeting about it, but half of the villagers were drafted, and some of us left here involved ourselves in a diversionary plan to keep him out of their hands.

[She takes out her journal, looking for a particular entry.] The village was hit by a massive storm, as they sent their droids in to search. Bil was kept hidden, though the people disguised as decoys were taken away.
