[It's been just about two weeks since Yuri's return to Luceti. He mostly kept to himself during this time, wanting to make certain he had most - if not all - of his memories of Luceti back before he made it clear that he was around again. ... And of course, before taking control of Brave Vesperia again. Seeing his guildmates and having no clue who half of them were wouldn't exactly win him any points with them, after all.

But now, he was sure he remembered most things. ... Little details weren't around, but he didn't see the details as being nearly as important as faces and names. Regardless, he decided that he'd done enough waiting around and flipped open his journal.]

I guess I've put this off long enough. [... Geez, what does he even say? "Hey guys, I'm back, in case someone didn't know!" Wow, that's kind of lame. Uhm.] So ... for those who know me, I'm back again - and I remember most things, as far as I can tell. For those who've got no clue who I am ... I wouldn't worry about it. I'm just one of those guys who keeps winding up here for whatever reason. You know, one of the "lucky" ones. [You could practically hear the quotes around 'lucky'.]

Anyway, I'll be taking charge of Brave Vesperia again over the next few days. So, if you've got any business with the guild and need to contact the guy in charge, send a message out to Yuri Lowell. I'll get back to you when I can. Also, if any guild members have anything they feel should be brought to my attention or anything like that, just let me know.

... Aside from all that, I've got a question. Does anyone know just who was in charge of that training school thing from a while back? I've got a few things to ask them, if they're still around.

[Aside from that bit of business he had to take care of, Yuri's also at the battle dome, trying to get used to using the control panel for it again. ... Sure, he's only got it to do basic things (send out monsters in a typical grassy field), but it's something. He'll figure the rest of it out later.

So yes, feel free to run into him while he tries to figure out how to do more than just super basic things with the battle dome, or even catch him while he's training there.]

[She holds her book out to him with the page she found before.] You might want to give this a quick look over. It touches on what was found in the Malnosso base when the decoys were taken.

[Yuri takes Raine's journal when it's held out to him, giving the page it's opened to a look-over. He's quiet while he skims the page, looking for things Raine, or other people, haven't told him yet.

... Then he gets to the part about the new line of droids. His eyes widen for a moment before they settle into a very cold glare.

He holds the journal back out to Raine when he's finished.]

I can't believe they're really going that far with things. Just when I thought those bastards couldn't disgust me any more than they already have ...

[He didn't read the other commentary connected to that entry, though. His reaction would have been much, much worse if he had seen what Albert had to say, that's for certain ...]

[She might belatedly realize that later - she does think of Jonah from time to time, even if it's a sore topic around Yuri. Or perhaps because it is.

For now, though, she nods in agreement with his assessment.]

If they hadn't been able to see that production with their own eyes... we might not have known until whenever it was that they decided to test them out on us. It's as if they don't know when to stop.

As if they'd ever know when enough is enough. Those sick sons of ... [... Maybe he shouldn't just stand around, cursing. After that light bit of self-censorship, he shakes his head and continues.] ... If nothing else, we at least have some idea of what they've got waiting in the wings. Not much, but it's better than being surprised by these things whenever they get sent after us.

Indeed. It's a lot to keep in mind, even if we can't exactly prepare ourselves, not knowing when that time will be.

That's true, but it's definitely better than nothing. Even if we can't prepare ourselves just yet, we can at least keep in mind that these things have a very obvious weakness.

[If they're being run on ... that sort of thing, Yuri figures destroying the heads would take care of them immediately. Gruesome as the final product of doing that may look.]

... yes. That is very true. Hopefully we won't be seeing them for a very long time, if at all. All the more reason to keep training, I suppose.

Heh ... Couldn't bear to keep things up without me around, huh? I guess I could understand that.

What can I say, it's just not the same without a partner. [Saving face. Really, there are a number of reasons why her training fell through. Something that just happens over time, especially when someone isn't knocking on your door to invite you along at odd hours.]

[Raine that doesn't help when the guy you're saying that to was trying to use non-serious flirt-tease tactics on you. You just opened pandora's box with a line like that and Yuri is very unsure if he can keep his mouth shut right now.]

Yeah, a lot of things in life just aren't the same without one, I'd say.
