[ action - for house 12 ]

[Nice and early in the morning, there'll be a wonderful noise coming from one of the empty bedrooms in house 12.

... Except not, because the noise is a loud THUD, followed by a groan and (if one is listening closely) a "dammit" and some mumbled complaining. Being dropped on the edge of an old mattress and immediately falling off of it onto the floor because of that isn't the best feeling to wake up to. Especially when you're just arriving in Luceti.

But uh, yeah. Good morning, house 12 residents!]

[ action - in the late afternoon to evening ]

[Now that he's gotten a fair chunk of his Luceti memories back, Yuri decides to head out that evening and refamiliarize himself with the village a little. Might as well try to get as much of his memory back before doing one of those "hey, I'm back" things, right? Well, it makes sense to him, anyway. He's more or less wandering all over the place in the village, but notably, he's stopping by the Smithy (might as well see if one of his swords is lying around there!), the Battle Dome (only to take a look at the place, though), and finally, the Good Spirits bar. Still, he may come across as a New Feather while he does his wandering, as he slows down a lot while he wanders - sometimes coming to full stops to look at areas or buildings.

Aside from those three places noted, he doesn't really hang around anywhere else in particular, but as he does slow to stops often in random places, feel free to catch him just about anywhere in the village.]

You can fix it after breakfast then! I'm a little too old to be climbing outta windows, and I don't wanna touch it 'cause I might catch yer curse if I do. Oh the horror! [And he throws the bacon into the pan, you might as well take a seat seeing as his melodramatics are in play.]

Besides, if I really am cursed, and it really can pass on to other people, then it's already too late for you.

[~~But stupid is his middle name.~~ He moves to the cupboards and gets a load of bread out, since he likes fresh bread it's not sliced so he'll be doing that while the bacon cooks.]

I'm not bein' stupid, I'm being serious! I really don't want any more bad luck fer a change. Is that so wrong ta ask? Just fer once I'd like a nice peaceful day where I don't worry myself ta death over somethin'. Alas, I can't expect you kids to understand the woes of the elderly.

And the sad part is I got the feelin' bad news is on the horizon anyway, with or without yer help, especially when it concerns Luceti.

You mean, what you said about that Bil person dying?

Something along those lines, yeah. We're bound to get a repercussion of sorts, I'm just waitin' fer it ta come up on the journals. It's a bit of a pain dreadin' what's ta come.

[Yuri sighs quietly to himself at that.]

... Yeah. [ ... ] It's even more of a mess for any totally new people coming in. People like me at least have some idea of what's going on and what to expect, but the rest of them are just going to end up getting swept up in all this.

You don't need ta worry about them, they'll get used ta this place before they even realize it! I doubt the Malnosso would be cruel enough ta shove bad news onto us when they're already bringin' oblivious people into the mix.

I don't see them being that kind about things, if they really plan on doing something. [... But he doesn't know the entire situation, so he decides to not get himself too worked up about it. He can save that for when and if this retaliation for whatever happened comes to pass.] But I guess all we can do for now is wait and see.

Ya know, sometimes they can be really well behaved. Well, when they're not experimentin' on us or dragging us off ta fight their little wars for 'em.

[He pauses. The more he thinks about it, the more he realizes this little village isn't really a happy little village. There's always something to be wary of. He quickly thinks back to Ragna recently going feral on them.]

Anyway, if it's not the Malnosso bein' the problem, then it's the other villagers.

[Villagers being problems ... he can't remember anything specific, but he does have some vague understanding that something like that isn't surprising, so--]

... Yeah. If I'm remembering right, then they're usually more dangerous than the Malnosso can get sometimes.

[... Although, bringing that up, he feels the need to check--]

Nothing happened recently when it comes to things like that though, right?

[yes! I got to fight an ~~aersick~~ out of control Alexei followed by a super powerful Ragna just a few weeks ago!]

Nope. Nothin' I can think of.

[Back to cooking bacon, it's almost done. He likes it crispy though.]

Oh yeah? Nice to hear things have been quiet on that front, at least.

[Using a spatula he moves the bacon on the bread. Like a boss. Then he cuts the sandwiches and brings them over to the table. Literally 'plonking' it down in front of Yuri before taking a seat himself.]

I was kind of keeping "people being dangerous" and "new guys coming in" separate, but that's still true, I guess. Not like dangerous new feathers don't show up from time to time.

[Oh hey delicious sandwich. He'll be getting started on this thing after he finishes the next set of lines he has to say.]

But hey, at least it was two people who aren't some kind of immediate danger to you. Could've been worse.
