[Nice and early in the morning, there'll be a wonderful noise coming from one of the empty bedrooms in house 12.

... Except not, because the noise is a loud THUD, followed by a groan and (if one is listening closely) a "dammit" and some mumbled complaining. Being dropped on the edge of an old mattress and immediately falling off of it onto the floor because of that isn't the best feeling to wake up to. Especially when you're just arriving in Luceti.

[ action - in the late afternoon to evening ]

[Now that he's gotten a fair chunk of his Luceti memories back, Yuri decides to head out that evening and refamiliarize himself with the village a little. Might as well try to get as much of his memory back before doing one of those "hey, I'm back" things, right? Well, it makes sense to him, anyway. He's more or less wandering all over the place in the village, but notably, he's stopping by the Smithy (might as well see if one of his swords is lying around there!), the Battle Dome (only to take a look at the place, though), and finally, the Good Spirits bar. Still, he may come across as a New Feather while he does his wandering, as he slows down a lot while he wanders - sometimes coming to full stops to look at areas or buildings.

Aside from those three places noted, he doesn't really hang around anywhere else in particular, but as he does slow to stops often in random places, feel free to catch him just about anywhere in the village.]

Yeah. Enough to know I missed something pretty big, anyway. Unless something else happened aside from the flood and whatever happened to that blue guy.

Yeah... plus a draft in space, apparently. I missed out on that one myself, though.

[He leans back, grinning abruptly.]

But hey, good news! Brave Vesperia is still up and running, and going strong at that! We've actually got three jobs right now.

Wait, in space? How did they ...

[... You know what, he's just going to shake his head and move on to the next topic. Because he can actually comprehend it.]

... Anyway, we've really got three jobs going? [ ... ] They're not all building jobs, are they?

[His smile shifts a bit to look slightly strained, instead.]

Two stables and a shrine! Sounds great, right?

... Yeah. Wonderful.

Figured you'd be thrilled. [Zack shrugs.] Ah well, can't really be helped. You want a drink?

Guess not. It's something to do, anyway, so it doesn't matter for now. [... Oh.] And yeah, I'll have a beer. Might as well, while I'm here.

[One beer coming up! Zack cracks open a bottle from the cooler and slides it over, fetching one for himself as well. Nothing like a nice cool beer between friends.]

Remind me to give you the new roster sometime soon. I tried to get the guild out there a little more, but it's tough, man.

[Catching that when it slides over! And looking slightly confused for a moment.]

"New" roster? [-- Oh, wait.] Ah, right. I guess that means some people got sent home, then. [Well, it happens. He'll see if it's anyone he knew well when he sees the new roster, then.] Getting the guild out there more is tough, though. But hey, we've got a decent amount of jobs going now, so I'd say you did a pretty good job at that.

Yeah, you know the drill. It's like accounting, with less snooze-worthy money crunching and more heartbreak. I don't think we've done too badly the last few months, though. We're mostly intact.

Good to know. It'd be a little depressing to show up to the next meeting and only see half as many people there, or something.

It's not that bad. But don't be surprised if Sokka starts a petition to rename it "The Build Guild" again.

He can come up with petitions for that till the end of time for all I care. It just gives me something to shoot down every once in a while.

If only that was enough to steer away the boredom.

So... can I at least depend on having a regular sparring partner again?

If nothing else, I can give you that much. [ ... ] But maybe not right away. I mean, I did just get back today and all.

Yeah, I guess you can get a free pass for that one. I promise not to cry about it.

Good to know. I probably won't take that long, but I might as well give myself an excuse early, anyway. Just in case.

Want me to keep running the guild until you settle in, too? I don't mind getting as much of those construction projects out of the way before we make the official hand-off.

[He has noooo issues with giving the control back to Yuri, though. Getting a guild organized is kind of a pain.]

That'd probably be a good idea. At least until I get some more of my memory back, anyway. I can't imagine me handling things too well the way I am right now.

Does it take long to remember everything? Besides that one experiment, I haven't been sent back since I got here, so I have no idea.

I'm not too sure. It's kind of random, I think. Some people end up remembering everything the minute they figure out they're in Luceti, some people remember things after a few weeks ... It never seems to take too long, though.

Guess we should be grateful for small favours. Mostly because that's the only kind of favour we get around here...

Yeah, and it's a favor that doesn't even work out half the time, too. [sigh] But I guess that's just like them, anyway.
