[As per usual, Yuri's spending his morning today in the battle dome ... although, for those who've seen him in there a decent amount of times, they may notice something different. Like the fact that he seems to be using a mid-sized axe instead of a sword this time around. It even seems to be making some of his artes look and act a little differently as well.

He also has a sword leaning against the room he's using - namely the katana Luke got him for Christmas. Occasionally, during breaks in his training, he'll wander over to it and pick it up, as if thinking about something related to it, but he always ends up putting it back down again.

Feel free to interrupt his session at any point! The monsters he's fighting don't seem to be challenging him very much, to begin with.]

Got a bit of a question for everyone. Which do you think is better - swords, or axes?

As for you all, I figured I should let you know that I'll be trying to do a little recruiting around the end of the month. I'm planning on doing the usual through-the-journal kind, but if anyone's got a better idea, let me know.

... Actually, if anyone's got any ideas for the guild at all, now's a good time to tell me. Especially if it'd help us stand out a little more as something other than some kind of construction group.

[Yuri will likely be a few minutes late, mostly because it isn't an emergency or anything, but as said - only by a few minutes. He'll be showing up with a sword only - sure, axes change some of his artes a little, but he's not interested in giving THAT much of an in-depth showcase.]

[Melaka is exactly perfectly on time either, I mean. That's the other side of town. But yeah she'll be there with her own usually selection of weapons - blaster, a sword, a battle ax strapped to her back. the good stuff. But she also has on a coat. God it's cold]

[Whenever Yuri sees Melaka, then, it'll be from the inside of the barracks. Because, yeah - cold. Not waiting outside, that's for sure.

[While she's striding on over, Yuri's giving the weapons she's got with her (the more noticeable ones, anyway) a glance. And a slight eyebrow raise. What, did she think he was going to kill her out here, or something? ... Well, Luceti's a weird place, so who the hell knows.

[More like he figured she wanted to see the artes via a spar, with all the weapons she brought with her, but. Well. He's not gonna suggest that if it's not coming to mind for her first.

Regardless, he'll start walking over to one of the training dummies the barracks contain, stopping a little ways away from it.]

All right, try to stay away from me while I do this. Wouldn't want you to get caught up in it.

[After saying that, he'll give her a few seconds to move away further, if she feels the need to. Right after that though? He starts using his artes. All of them, aside from the Divine Wolf series and Savage Wolf Fury. No need to get TOO flashy after all, and not to mention those things wear him out quite a bit, especially in Luceti.]

[Yuri has a very vague definition of "tired". At this point, though? He's what a normal person would call "tired". Regardless of that, after that display, he goes about sheathing his sword.]
